– The Metcalfe 15lb (6.8kg) potato peeling machine is constructed from non corrosive aluminium alloy castings, with the spindle housing & chute cast integrally, eliminating joints & possible leakage.
– Patented guarded discharge chute.
– Lubrication: No oiling or greasing required. All bearings are grease packed & permanently sealed.
– Rotor Plate: Coated on both sides, one fine abrasive for new potatoes, the other coarse grained.
– Patented peeling chamber – has cast-in abrasive serrations. This reduces potato loss & means the peeling chamber will never need re coating. The rotor plate is easy to remove for cleaning.
– Cleaning: Top casting is removable without tools for easy cleaning.
– Waste Disposal Adaptor: Optional extra which dispenses with the need for interceptors so that the waste can be connected directly to the drain. Water byelaws approved product when connected to a header tank.
– Height Of Peeling Chamber: 390mm.
