It now allows you to set two separate time zones and with two different temperatures. This allows you to set a time for the dehydrator to operate at one specific temperature and then automatically change to another temperature for a separate designated time. This is useful when dehydrating raw food as the higher initial temperature kills the bacteria whilst the remaining lower temperature retains the enzyme activity. The timer has now been increased to forty eight hours from twenty six.
